All These Ashes

Synopsis
A fire tears through a Newark apartment building in the dead of night. Seventeen people die. The city calls it a tragedy. Russell Avery calls it murder.
Hired by a survivor's family to investigate, Russell discovers that the fire was no accident — and that the building's owner has connections to some of the most powerful people in New Jersey. As he follows the trail of evidence through the ashes, he uncovers a conspiracy of greed, corruption, and violence that threatens to consume everything he cares about.
With enemies closing in and the truth slipping away, Russell must decide how much he's willing to sacrifice to give the dead their voice.
